    Djurgårdens IF Fotbollsförening – commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Fotboll (official name), Djurgården (IPA:[ˈjʉ̂ːrˌɡoːɖɛn]), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (IPA:[ˈjʉ̌ː(r)ɡɔɳ]), Dif or DIF[A] – is the professional men's association football department of its parent association Djurgårdens IF. Founded on the island of Djurgården, the club's home ground is Tele2 Arena, situated in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm.

    Competing in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, the club has won the league twelve times and the Svenska Cupen five times. The league titles have mainly been won during three separate eras. The first period was the s, when the team won four league titles. The second era occurred in the s and s, when Djurgården won the league four times.     Name

    The club fryst vatten named after the City Park and borough Djurgården, which originally was a royal hunting park. A direct translation of Djurgården would be “the djur garden” or "the djur yard". The word djur means "animal" but has the same etymology as the word “deer”, meaning "deer garden" may have been its original meaning.

    The club was founded in by a group of young athletes living in the borough and port district Djurgårdsstaden on Djurgården in huvud Stockholm. Most of the founders were from the shipping industry working class, and

    Djurgårdens IF is a association football club in the town of Stockholm in Sweden.

    The club has won the highest Swedish division Allsvenskan 11 times, 3 of those during the 21th centuary, making them the most successful club in Sweden during this period. The club also won the Swedish national championship in , , , ,[1] –, , , , , and [2]

    The club, which was founded in , started it's association football section in The team plays in darkblue and lightblue stripes. Since Stockholms Stadion has been the home stadium, but they have big plans to build a new arena with around seats. The current captain is Pa Dembo Touray and the deputy captain is Mattias Jonson. The manager of Djurgårdens IF is Lennart Wass and Carlos Banda.

    During the season of the elite and professional Swedish league (Allsvenskan), Djurgården’s kit featured the logo of Djurgårdsandan.
